Terms written to clarify how the product should actually be used.

Effective March 10, 2026. These terms govern access to the website, product, and related services provided by InvenMap.

InvenMap is designed to support invention research and technical discovery. It is not a substitute for legal counsel, patent prosecution strategy, or formal freedom-to-operate analysis.

Using the service

You may use InvenMap only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. Access may be suspended or limited where use is abusive, unlawful, or harmful to the service.

Accounts and responsibility

You are responsible for activity associated with your account, workspace, or session credentials. Keep your access information secure and use the service only as authorized.

Research outputs and validation

InvenMap provides search, clustering, summaries, and analysis signals to support research. Outputs are informational and should be independently validated before legal, technical, regulatory, or commercial decisions.

Intellectual property and source material

The InvenMap product interface, branding, and service logic remain the property of InvenMap. Patent records and other public-source materials remain subject to their own underlying rights, terms, and legal statuses.

Availability and product evolution

The service may change over time. Features may be added, removed, delayed, renamed, or reworked as the product evolves, and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

Liability limits

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvenMap is provided without warranties of perfect completeness, uninterrupted uptime, or fitness for every workflow. The service is a research aid, not a substitute for professional advice.

Acceptable use

The product is for constructive research and technical exploration. Use it in a way that is lawful, respectful of third-party rights, and operationally safe.

Do not use the service in ways that violate law or third-party rights.
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or misuse the platform.
Do not treat the product as legal advice or as a final freedom-to-operate determination.
